Description
AirStar automatic Cloud and Pour point tester with built-in cooling
All parts required for Cloud and Pour Point testing are inside Cloud and Pour Point Head.
The AirSTAR CPPP Head with a modern camera and LED lights for Pour Point detection. During the lift & tilt procedure, this camera monitors the top of the sample for movement. Upon detecting a slight movement in the sample, the lift & tilt procedure will stop and the test jar moves back into the bath. The test continues as per the method.
Crude oil, dark samples or other common “difficult” samples is not a problem for AirSTAR’s camera-based detection technology.
ColdBlock
Cold Block is AirSTAR’s Stirling Motor Cooling technology that requires no external chiller even when cooling down to -105˚C.
Stirling cooler
AirSTAR’s ColdBlock is efficient and powerful based on the free-piston Stirling cooler principle. Homogeneous cooling of the bath jacket by special-designed heat pipe technology.

No Cables
The absence of cables makes AirSTAR flexible and works with different CFPP/CPPP Heads in one installation.

New AirSTAR instruments are factory calibrated and supplied with a calibration report.
